About the Event
Can you survive a whole day of frights? Dread Through The Decades will feature a spooky film from every decade of
The Lincoln’s original opening as a movie palace.Â
The film festival starts at 3pm with a screening of the first adaptation of Dracula, the silent movie Nosferatu (1922). The Blood of a Poet (1932) begins at 4:30pm and features a more experimental take on the horror genre. At 5:30pm the original Cat People (1942) will be screened just before the scares get amped up. Curse of Frankenstein (1957) features horror icon Peter Cushing and will be screened at 7pm. After the sun has set you’ll hear some of those classic circus tunes in Night Tide (1961). The night ends with the Italian horror film Suspiria (1977).Â
This event is free. Drop by for a movie or two, or challenge yourself to a full night of scares!
*Some films may include frightening imagery and are not suited for younger audiences.*
