For the past 11 years, Letters From Home has been coming to Marion, Virginia for a free memorial day concert.infuses the classic style of the USO with a witty, modern edge. Featuring high-energy singing and tap dancing performances by founderand self-proclaimed "tall guy" Dan Beckmann. Funny and heartfelt, harmonic and uplifting,  will leave you feeling great about being human. They have performed over  across the world, including singing at the and completing their full  Letters From Home  Erinn Dearth Letters From Home 1000 shows75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy France, entertaining Battle of the Bulge veterans in Belgium, 50-States Tour in 2023.

The late Mayor David Helms was a huge supporter of all of our veterans, active military and their families and always honored them on Memorial Day. This event lives on in his spirit.
