Mt Pleasant Preservation Society and The Lincoln Theatre are celebrating Ms. Lawrence's love for the blues and Smyth County history! A portion of the proceeds will support the historical mission of the Mt Pleasant Preservation Society.

About the Event

M.S.G. Acoustic Blues Trio is a roots-infused, Piedmont-steeped, yet thoroughly up-to- date group of widely and deeply talented musicians. Their influences include, but are not limited to, Archie Edwards, Cephas & Wiggins, and Etta Baker. A typical performance ranges from humorous roof-raisers to the deepest expression of the blues, with a whole lot of musical stops in between.
